Its august so soon....august...month of first exams, birthday of mom,aunt( they actually have the same birthday but not twins though, i think 2 years apart) and of course not to be forgotten my cousin kim :) not to mention church camp next week, orchestra presentation last week and hmm..what else...well soon it'll be september.
Yesterday went to aunt's house to celebrate mom's birthday. We had pizza, yong tau foo and chocolate fondue. IT was great for the younger ones coz the older generation did not appreciate the chocolate fondue so we had all we could eat hehe..Love family meetings where we can "gossip" about each other :P
Was cool to see my other cousins (who are like 2 yrs old and 4 yrs old) talking jumping around and playing. YEs they're a bit spoilt..but well at that age, most things they do are quite cute hehe. hopefully its just a phase or if they're still like tht when they grow up...i'll disown them hahaha
WAtched the badminton olympic finals. Was quite wasted we lost, but well, at least we got a silver medal :) Go for it malaysian shuttlers!!we can definitely get more medals in the future.

weekend well spent
Almost everyone i know, looks forward to weekends. Everyone's ideal weekend, on the golf course, in the swimming pool, out at the mall with friends, or even just staying at home, locking yourself in the room with the air con on full blast with a cup of hot chocolate(or milo in Malaysian terms) and a good book.
I haven't done all those for a long time, (except for the reading book part) but still my weekends are times i look forward to. How do i spend my weekends? I spend it at church...Yea i can imagine the looks on your faces when you read that, but trust me, its not that i have no life that i wanna hide in church all weekend, you obviously do not know me..hehe
Anyway, i'll just start my story from monday. As usual, monday was just like any normal day in uni, morning 8am class ( i hate 8am classes esp on mondays... :( ) analysis assignments given out, then last class orchestra. Quite uneventful except for the phone call from Hannah which asked me to preach on Saturday. Without thinking much, i just agreed. Then, tuesday and wednesday, also quite normal didn't do much.
The hecticness started on Thursday. Let me recall...10 am class ended at 11, then went to Subang to help Uncle Stanley, he said he needed to rush a job, so had to go.Then after that, met up with Pastor Reuben to discuss my message. Then rushed back home to get my bass (had some time to play with charrise :P) then went to K2 for "family gathering" for the hostel students. After that came back to uni to have my bass class, then haha...went out for a midnight movie. My first actually hehe watched till 4am, then went to my coursemate's house to sleep, didn't want to freak my mom out.
Friday morning, supposed to go to class, then realized, the work that Uncle Stanley passed to me I was supposed to pass to Elliot on Saturday.That gives me like one day to work on, which i dont have becasue i have to go to CF, then go for a performance at klpac. So rushed home to do the work. Then at 12pm went to fetch Paul to go to CF, there was a massive jam, obvouisly something happened in front but nothing would prepare us for what we saw...bad accident, made headlines the next day...
Imagine the scrap of metal on the right side used to be a van....2 people were killed and 5 critically hurt...God bless those who are involved in the accident...
Back to my story, we went to CF and then after that got a call to help scout for a new dvd recorder for the church so went to harvey norman to get price quotations. Then after that went to Serdang to fetch some of my coursemates then went to the performance, a really awesome performance it was. Then reached home at 1+ am.
Saturday, woke early to finish the part of work that i could before passing it to Elliot then went to meet Jason, had a last follow up coaching session with him before handing him to Stephen. Then had a musician meeting. Then met with pastor Reuben, then waited for my turn to preach. This time unlike the previous time, i felt totally confident and also felt that i was in full control of the session felt real good preaching haha. After that had to go home, coz i have yet to finish my analysis home work and orchestraition homework. After 2 days of fun, would have to get back to earth and do work. There were 3 main homework that i was supposed to hand in on monday, plus having guitar class on monday had to practise, time was precious, couldnt afford to waste any minute. Slept at 1 someting as well.
Sunday, finally, had to wake early also coz was going to have breakfast with family before going to church at 830am so dragged myself up..well the rest of the day was quite usual as well, but unusually skipped a meeting. Would have attended if not because of the homework...went home and stayed in the room till12+ couldnt stand anymore went to bed.
Well it was quite an eventful, busy, full packed, and well got to impact lives in the youth and cf, and also had fun really nice haha...
