Yesterday, as my friend said, was "bad luck day" coz it seem that few of us in the same course had a bad encounter that day. That friend hurt her finger while getting off a bus, another friend was almost finishing an assignment he had worked on for few days when someone switched of the power to his laptop causing him to the final part of the work he had done (yes had not saved) and i slightly scalded my hand while cooking maggi mee for supper.
Thinking back, yes at that moment it really felt that all of us had "bad luck" yesterday, but looking back, actually its so easy for one bad event to ruin the whole day. We always remember the negative side of things, and not look at the positive side.
Like the story where there was a king who went hunting and lost one finger. He had an aide whom he always brought wherever he go to advise him on matters. When the king lost his finger, the aide said "it could have been worse". This angered the king so he threw the aide to jail. The next day the king embarked on another hunting trip, on which he was captured by cannibals who was preparing to cook him for their meal. While preparing the meal, they discovered that the king had lost his finger. They let him go because it was their tribe ritual to only eat perfect people. The king went back to his kingdom and immediately set the aide free from prison. He told the aide the whole story and again, the aide said "it could have been worse". The king was surprised by his comment and asked "what could be worse?" and the aide replied "if i wasn't in prison, i would have followed you on the hunting trip."
In leach situation there are many ways to view it. how you view it, its totally up to you. :)
